Thanks to community support, SOS provides 20 programs and services to residents of all ages in District 69, (Nanoose Bay to Bowser, including Coombs, Errington and Whiskey Creek). Our programs provide assistance to vulnerable individuals who are socially or economically disadvantaged, and we also provide opportunities to stay engaged and healthy through social interaction and various supports. SOS is primarily funded by donations and purchases at our SOS Thrift Shop, and financial contributions. Beyond improving community through programming, SOS’s mission is to provide a social safety net for all local residents.
